Chiefs have reportedly made an enquiry about signing SuperSport
United's prolific striker, Jeremy Brockie, although a huge transfer fee
could be involved.
The New Zealand international is regarded as one of the hottest talents in the Absa Premiership after proving his ability to score at a rate of more than one goal in every two matches.
The 29-year-old has also been subject in the past to interest from African champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, although the R12 million valuation has seemingly put pay to any deal going through.
Soccer Laduma reported that the Brazilians could be in pole position to land the forward, who has a deal with SuperSport that runs until 2012.
Yet, Amakhosi seem to have thrown their hat in the ring by enquiring about his services.
According to the same publication, teams from the Middle East are also interested in potentially snapping him up, however, no firm offers have been tabled as yet.
With 38 goals to his name domestically since arriving at United in 2014/15, Brockie is one of the most prolific foreign strikers to ply his trade in Mzansi in the modern era.
