Reneilwe Letsholonyane leaves Chiefs

Cape Town - Veteran midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways.

Letsholonyane, affectionately known as 'Yeye', has been at Chiefs since 2008.

Soccer Laduma was reporting on Thursday that Letsholonyane, whose contract expires at the end of the season, had been made a decent offer by Chiefs but that the 33-year-old had opted not to extend his time at the club.

The report confirmed that, instead, Letsholonyane would be joining former coach Stuart Baxter at SuperSport United from the start of the 2016/17 season.

Letsholonyane thanked the Chiefs fans and management for his time at the club, saying he would "forever be indebted to them".

Chiefs currently occupy fourth position on the PSL table going into the final round of fixtures.
