Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabo Rakhale is reveling in the opportunity he has been given to play for the club he has supported since he was a child.
The dribbling wizard made his breakthrough into the starting line-up last season and wants to emulate the success of his idol Steve Lekoelea.
"It's an honour for me to play. It's a dream come true. I grew up supporting Orlando Pirates," Rakhale told club's magazine.
"As we all know, Steve was playing for Pirates. Here I am today, I'm regarded as his one of his successors."
Rakhale will be in action when Pirates take on Jomo Cosmos in the Nedbank Cup Last-16 at Olen Park on Sunday, April 3.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
