Putsche signs new City deal

Cape Town - Cape Town City have confirmed that Austrian midfielder, Roland Putsche, has extended his deal with the Citizens for a further two seasons.

Putsche, who has made 17 starts for City in all competitions, has become an integral part of the club's success in 2016/17. The Eric Tinkler-coached outfit have already won the Telkom Knockout trophy and currently lead the Premiership standings.

"CTCFC family, we have an exciting piece of club news. Austrian midfield maestro Roland Putsche has just put pen to paper on a new two year extension deal!" the club revealed on their official Twitter account.

"Adjusting to the game in the PSL is not always the easiest task, but Roland has become an integral member of the team - breaking down and dominating every midfield CTCFC face.

"Off the field, he has really taken to the city of Cape Town and the wonderful people in it," the Citizens added.

"Roland and the club are both very excited for the future and we await many more special moments from a true team player."
