PSL to hand over the NFD trophy on final day of season

Cape Town - The Premier Soccer League (PSL) will hand the new National First Division (NFD) champions, Thanda Royal Zulu, their trophy on the last day of league fixtures this weekend at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban. 

The handover will take place Sunday, May 14 when Thanda finishes off their inspired campaign away to Real Kings FC.  The Richards Bay side, led by Roger Sikhakhane who is no stranger to promoting NFD sides to the Premier League, secured an automatic promotion last week with three games in the season remaining. 

All teams will be in action on the day, with six teams still with a chance to make the top three to qualify for the PSL promotion playoffs. 

Two rounds of fixtures remain, on Wednesday at 17:00.

AmaZulu vs Jomo Cosmos

Milano United AFC vs Stellenbosch FC

Royal Eagles vs Mbombela United

Mthatha Bucks vs Cape Town All Stars 

The final round of the season fixtures takes place on Sunday
