PSL promotional play off fixtures decided

Cape Town - The draw for PSL Promotional Play-Offs for 2017/18 season was conducted at the PSL offices despite the number 15th spot not having been decided yet.

Fixtures will see Clive Barker’s Stellenbosch FC opening the mini league between three teams with the PSL team that will finish the season at 15th.

The two from the NFD, Black Leopards and Stellenbosch FC finished the season number two and three respectively after Thanda Royal Zulu which secured an automatic promotion by winning the league.

Six matches will be played between the three teams over 18 days, with each team fighting for a ticket to play in the elite league come next season.

As it is played in a league format, league rules apply- each team will play two opponents twice- at home and away- and a win equals three points, a draw one point and goal difference will be considered in case of a stalemate.

Five teams are fighting for the relegation in the PSL at the moment and they are Baroka FC, Chippa United, Highlands Park, Free State Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic.

The fixtures:

Stellenbosch vs PSL 15th (May 31)

Black Leopards vs Stellenbosch (3 June)

PSL 15th vs Black Leopards (7 June)

PSL 15th vs Stellenbosch (10 June)

Stellenbosch vs Black Leopards (14 June)
