PSL player to face court for stabbing incident

Cape Town - A Free State Stars player has been arrested for allegedly stabbing someone with a knife, according to Soccer Laduma.

The incident is said to have happened before a game close to the end of last season.

"The whole thing started with an argument about a girlfriend in one of the nightclubs in Bethlehem. The girlfriend belonged to one of the players. It turned out that on the night of the incident she went to the nightclub with some other guy and not the player. The soccer player wasn’t happy with that and he called his teammates and they allegedly attacked the guy," said an unnamed source.

The player will appear in court on Friday, September 2 and has already been charged with attempted murder.
