Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns forward Percy Tau was pleased to see his additional work on the training pitch paying off with two goals against Baroka FC on Tuesday night.
Tau's brace helped Masandawana to a 4-0 away win and took them top of the league table for the first time this season.
At 23-year-old Tau has quickly become a vital cog in the Sundowns machine and has also been a regular starter up front for the national team in the Soccer World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking after his Man of the Match performance against Baroka, Tau was pleased with the team effort and also spoke of his desire to keep on improving.
"I think we did really well and created a lot of chances. Against Chippa, we didn't create that much chances. Today we managed to score four and concede zero, so we are happy with the result," he said.
"I try and improve. I do a lot of finishing and sometimes it doesn't happen because football is about situations and the situations are different to the ones I practise.
"It's just a learning curve for me. I'm being more experienced. I think now I'm more experienced with the chances I get," he added.
