Pitso: We got what we wanted

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane showered praise on his players after advancing to the CAF Champions League semi-final with a 1-0 win over Zamalek on Wednesday.

Young midfielder Percy Tau played a big hand in forcing an own-goal from Ali Gabr in the 79th minute at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Wednesday's result means that Sundowns are undefeated in the competition with nine points from three games in Group B.

"We could have scored more, we ended up enjoying the game more than trying to score but it's also good to enjoy the game, to have confidence on the ball and they dominated," Mosimane told SuperSport.

"Percy is always a game-changer, but I'm happy with Teko tonight, most especially when they didn't press us on the ball and then he'll spread all the passes, very good.

"We got what we wanted, we got the three points, we dominated the game, and by the way we played Zamalek hey, so it's good.

"It's good, they are here, they are supporting us, they are brave, chilly weather but they are okay, so it's good, we just have a good momentum."
