Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane is rumoured to be lining up a January bid for Cape Town City winger Aubrey Ngoma.
Mosimane has made no secret of his admiration for Ngoma and previously incurred the wrath of Citizens boss John Comitis for his public courtship of the former AmaTuks, Orlando Pirates and MP Black Aces forward.
According to a source quoted by IOL website, the Brazilians' coach is, however, set to renew his attempts to bring Ngoma to Pretoria.
"Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is a big fan of Ngoma. He still wants him in his squad. Sundowns will put in another bid for him in this transfer window.
"They want to pay City the money and give them another player on top of that. They want to give City [defender] Kwanda Mngonyama for free, so that they can get Ngoma."
Comitis, however, looks like he's standing firm on his reluctance to sell City's prized asset.
"Nobody is leaving us. We are not selling any of our players, even if there's a good offer.
"All we want to do is to beef up our squad. I'm working very hard to secure three new signings," he said.
Those three players, according to the report, are Brilliant Khuzwayo, Mohammed Anas and Mandla Masango.
