Cape Town - With yet another lengthy PSL break, Pitso Mosimane has confirmed that he has given his Mamelodi Sundowns players a week off.
The Chloorkop side face one of their biggest rivals - Kaizer Chiefs - come December 16 in a much anticipated Telkom Knockout final encounter.
According to KickOff, Mosimane reveals that the break will give his side time to rejuvenate as well as welcoming the likes of Khama Billiat and Teko Modise from their lengthy injury list.
“I will give them five days’ break, Monday to Friday, to rest and spend time with their families,” the former Bafana Bafana coach said.
“We will be back on Sunday for two weeks and two days before the Final and that will be enough.”
“I am happy with the break because I can get [Anthony] Laffor back, I can get Khama [Billiat] back, I can get [Mzi] Mashaba back, I can get [Tebogo] Langerman back, I can get Teko [Modise] back and Denis’ [Onyango] shoulder can heal.”
