Pirates technical member leaves to join ex-Bok coach in France

Cape Town - Absa Premiership giants Orlando Pirates has amicably parted ways with the club’s Head of Strength and Conditioning Andre Volsteedt.

After three wonderful years at the club, Volsteedt will be leaving the Buccaneers ship as he prepares for a new chapter in France.

“I would like to thank the Orlando Pirates family, the staff and especially the Chairman for the support and encouragement over the past two-and-a-half seasons at the club,” said Volsteedt, as quoted on the club's official website.

Volsteedt will depart for France, where he is set to reunite with former Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer, who is the current head coach of Stade Francais.

The pair previously worked together at Blue Bulls.
