Pirates confirm January transfers

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have confirmed their January transfer dealings, adding four players to their squad while sending four away on loan.

The Premiership outfit have brought in attacking midfielder Dove Wome on loan from SuperSport United, while also signing Marc van Heerden, James Okwuosa, and Thembinkosi Lorch.

At the other end of the movements, the Buccaneers have sent four players on loan.

Nkosinathi Mthiyane is off to Golden Arrows, while Justice Chabalala, Sello Jaftha, and Donald Mokondelela joins Chippa United.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Felipe Ovono's contract with the club has been mutually terminated.

OUT:

• Felipe Ovono (mutually terminated)
• Nkosinathi Mthiyane (loan to Golden Arrows)

Pirates have endured a testing campaign and have dropped to 10th position in the league standings, seven points off the top of the table.

Pirates will play in the Premiership against Platinum Stars on Wednesday, February 8.
