Pirates appoint Carnell as Ertugral's assistant

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Bradley Carnell has been appointed as Muhsin Ertugral's assistant coach.

According to the Buccaneers official Twitter account, Carnell will be hoping to help guide the club to success alongside the former Mpumalanga Black Aces coach.

"Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Bradley Carnell as Assistant Coach," said the Tweet.

The former Bafana Bafana defender penned a three-year contract with the Parktown club ahead of the 2016/17 season.

Carnell previously worked for Free State Stars as well as for the University of Pretoria in the same position.

The 39-year-old will be in Sea Robbers' technical area on Saturday, July 30 when Pirates take on Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Champions Cup.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
