Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker is confident the Soweto giants will claim some silverware this season after missing out on two trophies in the 2015/16 campaign.
Chiefs tasted defeat in the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout finals, while relinquishing the league title to Mamelodi Sundowns as they finished last season with nothing to show for their efforts.
Pressure is mounting on the winless Amakhosi after a 2-1 loss to Wits in the league and a 2-1 loss to newcomers Cape Town City FC in the MTN8.
However, despite not getting the rub of the green last season and failing to hit the ground running in the new campaign, Parker is confident Chiefs will be able to pick up some silverware this time around.
"We tried to hard last season... things didn't go our way. But we'll bounce back," Parker told KickOff.
"I've got full confidence in myself and the team. I also trust the players that have been signed - they will add a lot of value.
"We'll definitely not repeat what happened last season. It is impossible to have another season with no silverware."
