Otladisa hopes to 'break records' with Sundowns

Cape Town - Exciting young Platinum Stars winger Katlego Otladisa plans make a major impact with Mamelodi Sundowns in the years ahead.

Otladisa is currently out injured at Platinum Stars, but will reportedly join Sundowns ahead of next season.

The 21-year-old has lit up the league with some scintillating performances out wide since making his debut against Sundowns in October last year.

"The feeling is something else because we all know Mamelodi Sundowns is the best team in South Africa and one-time African champions," Otladisa told KickOff.

"So, it is a dream come true to have signed for them now. The next step now is to take my game to the next level, winning trophies, breaking records and that is what is going through my mind right now."

Otladisa admits he's surprised by his rapid progress, and also gave an update on his injury status.

"I'm taken aback because this is happening in just a short space of time," he added. "So obviously I'm going to be in some kind of shock.

"The injury is coming all right and they [the doctors] said I'll be back at the end of February. I'll be actually be playing at that time."
