Nthethe: Preparation is key

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thabo Nthethe believes good preparation to every game is behind the club's turnaround after an average start to the 2015/16 campaign.

Following a disappointing start to the season, Sundowns' form improved dramatically and they are now on an unbeaten run of 18 games in all competitions. This remarkable run of games sees the Brazilians top the Premiership standings with 42 points and a game in hand.

"One thing that we are concentrating on, and the coach always emphasizes this, is that we have to concentrate and take it one game at a time," Nthethe told Soccer Laduma.

"We watch videos to study our opponents and the coach always shows us certain things that we may not notice about our opponents.

"The technical team is also working hard on our formations to make things easier for us, as players. When we get to games, we know what to do and that is why we have started scoring so many goals."

Sundowns will be looking to keep their good form going when they take on Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.
