No decision on Sheppard yet

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits CEO Jose Ferreira has revealed that a decision is yet to be made on veteran midfielder Dillon Sheppard.

The 37 year-old has been training with the Clever Boys but is not contracted to the club after his deal expired at the end of last season.

Sheppard had been serving a player/coach role after he was appointed to head the Under-17 academy team.

"He is training with the first team as a squad member, but what you need to know is that he is already an academy coach," Ferreira told KickOff.

"So, whatever happens regarding his future, he will still be at the club; be it as a player-come-academy coach or solely as an academy coach."
