Cape Town - Teenage Zambian international and Nkwazi FC striker Lameck Banda is reportedly on trial in South Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns.

"Banda has so far played 21 games at (Zambian Super Division club) Nkwazi FC. He scored three goals, against Power Dynamos, Zanaco and Buildcon FC. He made four assists against Lusaka Dynamos, Real Nakonde, Nchanga Rangers and Konkola Blades FC," as quoted from the Soccer Laduma website.
In a subsequent developments, Nkwazi general secretary Davy Chimbwelenge says that he's been having a difficult time keeping unscrupulous agents at bay.
"There were attempts by some agents from other countries who were trying to use underhand methods, including local agents. They wanted to sneak the boy out of the country," Chimbwelenge was quoted saying on the KickOff website.
