Niang joins AmaZulu

Cape Town - Senegalese-striker Mame Niang has joined National First Division (NFD) side AmaZulu on a six-month loan deal.

The Mamelodi Sundowns outcast recently returned to the country after a six month loan deal with AEL Limassol in Cyprus.

Sundowns have now allowed Niang to join AmaZulu, where the Senegalese will reunite with coach Steve Barker after working together at University of Pretoria.

"Mame Niang has joined AmaZulu until the end of the season," Niang's agent Steve Kapeluschnik told KickOff.

"I worked with Steve Barker before; he is a great coach. I am looking forward to helping the team achieve its aspirations of returning to PSL next season."
