Ngoma delighted with TKO win

Cape Town - Cape Town City winger Aubrey Ngoma was left overjoyed after his match-winning performance steered the Mother City club to the Telkom Knockout title.

Ngoma provided a goal and an assist in their 2-1 win over SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday to bag the man-of-the-match award.

"I'm so emotional right now, the hard work that we've been putting in in training is slowly being rewarded. I think we deserve it," Ngoma told SuperSport after the match

"If we could have chosen 11 man of the match then we would have chosen 11. Everyone put in a good shift.

"We knew they were going to come. They are experienced in cup games. They are experienced in all areas. We always rely on our speed and counter attacks. We should have buried the game with the chances that we had. Mentally we managed to come back immediately [after the goal].

"Everyone put in a good shift and the odds were against us when you look at the experience of SuperSport. I'm so proud of each and every one that is involved with the team."
