Nemukondeni is latest Ajax signing

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town have unveiled Innocent Nemukondeni as their latest signing ahead of the new Premiership season.

The Urban Warriors revealed they would be making three signings this week, with Nemukondeni the first to be announced, after midfielder Ndiviwe Mdabuka signed a three-year contract extension.

Nemukondeni, a 25-year-old former Gent and University of Pretoria winger, has penned a four-year deal with the club .

Speaking to the club's official website, Nemukondeni expressed his excitement at this new chapter in his career.

"It is such a huge pleasure and privilege to have signed, being here is a great feeling and I don’t know what to say," he said.

Nicknamed Slyza Tsotsi, Nemukondeni explained the origin of his moniker.

"I think it is because of how I dribble and the speed that I have, that is where the nickname comes from. I believe I can be a game-changer and I hope to succeed at Ajax Cape Town."
