Mulenga setback for Pirates

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates attacker Augustine Mulenga looks set to miss out the game against Chippa United at the weekend.

According to the official Buccaneers website, the 27-year old injured himself in training and is expected to be out for at least two weeks.

The club staff reported that Mulenga strained his knee after attempting to shoot whilst in an awkward position.

The Zambian international has since seen a specialist who has allayed fears of any extensive damage and has recommended that the player rest and treat his strain.

Meanwhile, Diamond Thopola remains doubtful to make the 18-man squad that will travel to his former employers the Chilly Boys.

The full back is still nursing a quad strain injury he suffered in Pirates’ 2-0 win over Ajax Cape Town.
