Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele has rallied his team-mates to give their best and go as far as possible in the CAF Champions League.
Sundowns have made no secret of their ambitions of wanting to win the continental competition.
The Brazilians will look to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the second-leg in the second-round tie against AS Vita at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
"We set goals for ourselves at the beginning of the season and we want to achieve that," Mphahlele told KickOff.
"One of those goals was to get to the group stages of the CAF Champions League and the president wants us to do well in the Champions League, and we have to repay him in any way.
"Last season we were almost there but went out in the second round. This season we are one step ahead and I think we are capable of qualifying for the group stages.
"It's important for us to win the game and go to the group stages. That's the main dream that the president wants, is for us to go to the group stages of the CAF Champions League."
Kick-off is at 19:30.
