Mosimane sings Polokwane's praises

Cape Town Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes that Polokwane City "play football the proper way", following his side's 2-0 victory against Rise and Shine.

The Chloorkop-based outfit claimed their first Premiership victory of the season, as goals from Percy Tau and Khama Billiat condemned Luc Eymael's side to their first defeat in the league after seven games played.

Mosimane said that his side's first league victory of the season was much-needed following their 2-1 defeat to Cape Town City in their previous encounter.

"We needed the win, to be honest. But we knew we would win, it was just a question of time," Mosimane said.

"I will say it again, Polokwane City is a very good team. They play with proper organisation, with the right tempo... They play football the proper way.

"They don't play percentage football. Many play percentage football and win.

"City play proper football, the way it's supposed to be played. They have a good coach," he concluded.
