Mosimane satisfied with draw

Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane was left content with the goalless draw against Maritzburg United after being forced to reshuffle the starting line-up.

The defending Premiership champions were held by the Team of Choice at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Wednesday.

Sundowns have a tough schedule ahead of them with crucial knockout games coming up in the semi-finals of both the CAF Champions League and the MTN8 in the coming days.

"I think Maritzburg played well and the only time they could trouble us was on the break just to wait and then go out on the counter," Mosimane told SuperSport.

"I'm happy that we came here to play and I'm happy for the team that played, that shows that guys are fighting for their positions to play.

"Obviously we wish we wouldn't have done nine changes but you have to do the nine changes because you have to balance the programme, and you've got to balance the load on the players."

Sundowns will next face Zesco United in the CAF Champions League semi-final first-leg away in Zambia on Saturday.
