Mosimane predicts low points total in PSL

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane predicts that the team to be crowned Premiership champions this season will win with a low points tally.

Mosimane reiterated the feelings shared by his Wits counterpart Gavin Hunt, who said it will not be another 71 point season.

Last season Sundowns clinched the title with a record smashing 71 points. Currently Cape Town City FC are at the summit of the table with 24 points from 12 games.

The Brazilians trumped Free State Stars 4-1 on Saturday ahead of their trip to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan on Monday.

"Somewhere, somehow I count the points. I have learned to count the points because I usually listen to Gavin Hunt because he knows and always speaks about points and all that, and I copy from him," Mosimane told KickOff.

"Last year he got it wrong, but this year he is right when he said we are not going to get the 71 points. He is right to say it will be difficult to win some of the games, but I also said that they are not going to win all the games they won last season. So it's fair enough."
