Mosimane plots Cup defence

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admits that emulating last season's Nedbank Cup triumph is a tougher proposition this year.

The defending champions will take on Mbombela United in the last 16 of the cup competition at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.

Sundowns will be the favourites against the NFD side, but Mosimane will not be taking any chances.

"We are the defending champions and we have to make sure that we defend the title but we are not taking it simply. Mbombela are a very good side and they are doing well in their league," he told Soccer Laduma.

"We will approach this game just like we approach any other game in any other tournament.

"We will take it seriously and make sure we win the game."
