Mosimane expects more goals

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes his side should have scored more goals during their impressive unbeaten streak.

Premiership leaders Sundowns are on a 15-game run without loss in all competition, which includes 13 wins and two draws.

Masandawana beat SuperSport United 2-0 on Saturday, but Mosimane felt that his team should have won by a bigger margin.

"Winning is good. Everyone wants to win but goals are very important," he told Goal website.

"If you have the chances to score more goals you have to do that. Khama had a chance to make it 3-0 against SSU and even to add more but we didn't take those chances.

"Goals will be needed at the end. Look at Wits, they scored five and if we can, we should also score more than that."

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
