Cape Town - Newly-signed Orlando Pirates midfielder Bernard Morrison says he is settling in well in his new surroundings thanks to the help of countryman Edwin Gyimah.
Despite being embroiled in a heated argument with coach Muhsin Ertugral at the Cape Town International airport following the 2-1 victory over Ajax Cape Town - Gyimah has been credited with helping Morrison to settle in, following his move from Congolese giants AS Vita Club in the recent transfer window.
"Yes, he (Gyimah) is helping me and I’m happy to have someone like Edwin with me," he told Soccer Laduma.
"In fact, he was my senior when I was playing for the U17s in Ghana and now we have become closer than before."
The 23-year-old revealed that everybody from the Mayfair-based was playing their part in making him feel welcome at the Soweto giants.
"They are really wonderful people! You know, when a player joins a new team, you are always told to be careful of this and that, but these guys have shown me there is nothing I have to be careful about," he added.
"They all have good hearts. They support each other and always give me words of encouragement."
