Cape Town - Orlando Pirates development coach Augusto Palacios confirmed free agents Lebohang Mokoena and Tlou Segolela are training with the club's youth side in a bid to maintain their fitness.
Cheeseboy and Sox, as the players are affectionately known, both graduated from the Mayfair-based outfit's highly-successful academy, but have recently parted ways or been transfer-listed by Mamelodi Sundowns and Platinum Stars respectively.
"Yes he (Mokoena) is here and so is Tlou Segolela. There is nothing wrong because the two players are free agents. They need to train and there is nothing wrong," Palacios told Soccer Laduma.
"We are trying to help them. We also have players from the first team and they are all training here together.
"We are trying to help them by playing with the teams from Vodacom League (ABC Motsepe League) for physical aspect of their game. They can't train alone. They have to train in a group. We are trying to help them. These players (Mokoena and Segolela) come from Pirates and we will do anything to help them and there is nothing wrong with that.
Mokoena and Segolela join the likes of former Pirates first-team members, Lehlohonolo Majoro and Yasser Mugwera training under the watchful eye of Palacios.
