Cape Town - The agent of Kaizer Chiefs full-back Levy Mokgothu says his client will depart the Soweto giants when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
The 26-year-old's career has hit the skids after failing to breaking into the first-team reckoning under coach Steve Komphela this term, failing to make a single appearance since signing from Moroka Swallows in 2014.
With his contract set to expire in June, Mokgothu will soon be looking for a new club.
His agent, Tim Sukazi, told The Times: "I'm arranging to ship him out [of Chiefs] by the end of this season. In any event, his contract is coming up.
"It is not good for him to not play football and it is not good for the club."
He added: "Like any player he is disappointed with the turn of events, but he accepts you have to compete for a place."
