Mobara admits feeling daunted over Ajax return

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates defender Abbubaker Mobara admits to feeling anxious about coming up against his former Ajax Cape Town colleagues on Tuesday night.

Ajax host Pirates at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday evening in what will be the first time he faces his old club after signing for the Soweto side in June this year.

Having risen through the Urban Warriors development ranks from childhood, Mobara concedes it will be difficult for him on Tuesday, but says he will be focused on doing his job.

"Obviously it will be a different feeling and very difficult at the same time," he said. "I have played with those players most of my football career, if not all my career.

"And now to play against them it will be strange, but in football such things happen, and I have to focus on my duties at Pirates because that's where I am now," added the Bafana Bafana defender.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
