Cape Town - Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic has revealed the playing philosophy he is implementing revolves around good defence, creativity and sharp finishing.
Sredojevic has enjoyed a superb start to life at the Soweto giants as he has guided the Buccaneers to first position in the Premiership, and have remained unbeaten as well.
Since he took over from Swede Kjell Jonevret ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, 'Micho' has helped the club win three and draw two of their opening five league encounters. In addition, a previously porous defence has conceded just once in the PSL.
Despite goalscoring still being a struggle, the Mayfair-based outfit went top of the table after Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Cape Town City courtesy of Thabo Qalinge's late strike.
As such, the Serbian outlined what he wants to see from his team, telling reporters, "We need to be as iron at the back, creative in the middle and sharp at the front.
"Supporters are expecting to see us scoring goals so we are working on that. But equally we need to be tight at the back.
"We want to satisfy the standards that the supporters put in front of us. We have the power to make them happy and we have to push on."
