Cape Town - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo admitted his disappointment after his team was brought back down to earth following a 1-0 loss to Wits on Wednesday.
Pirates saw their three-match winning streak in the Absa Premiership halted after a goal from James Keene in the 28th minute at the Bidvest Stadium fired the Celver Boys to a narrow win.
Mhlongo felt that his defenders put in a solid shift, but they were ultimately punished for a lapse in concentration in the first half.
"I'm disappointed that we lost because we have been doing very well. We knew it wasn't going to be easy and that we had to fight," Mhlongo told KickOff.
"I think the commitment was there, we just made one or two errors that let them into the game.
"We were compact at the back for the most part and they struggled to break us down, that's what hurts the most about the goal.
"We're a positive side in a good frame of mind and these things happen. We'll come back from this and start again."
