Cape Town - Golden Arrows forward Gabadinho Mhango is targeting a strong finish to the campaign after his four-goal haul in their 4-2 win over Mpumalanga Black Aces on Wednesday.
The Malawian international forward was introduced in the 36th minute of the game by coach Clinton Larsen and set the Mbombela Stadium alight with his clinical finishing.
The on-loan Bidvest Wits attacker claims he was able to analyse the weaknesses within the opposition defence before making his impact on the pitch, but also credited his team-mates for creating the chances for him to score.
"I watched from the bench and I read the game and their defenders were making mistakes," the 23-year-old told KickOff.
"I saw before I came in and I just took my chances.
"Credit to my teammates because they are the ones who created for me and I took the opportunities and we scored.
"I needed to score before I go [to Wits] and I want the team to finish in the top eight."
Since arriving in the Premiership in 2013, Mhango has impressed in his role behind the striker - scoring 18 goals in 55 games for Golden Arrows and Bloemfontein Celtic.
