Mhango gets signed by Arrows

Cape Town - Golden Arrows have increased their fire-power after securing a short term deal for Hellings 'Gabadinho' Mhango.

The Malawian international, who last played for Bloemfontein Celtic and was one of the top scorers in the PSL last season, recently signed a pre-contract agreement to join Bidvest Wits at the end of the season.

Celtic were unhappy with this, feeling that Mhango had done the deal behind their backs, and subsequently decided to cut short his stay in the Free State.

This presented the chance for another club to try and secure a short-term deal, and it was Arrows who moved fastest, the transfer was confirmed to KickOff by the player's agent, Mike Makaab.

"The deal is done, we are now just finalising the paperwork around his work permit," Makaab said.
