Cape Town - Ajax
Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo is eager to bring down the curtain on
Orlando Pirates' hopes of finishing in the top half of the table.
The Urban Warriors head to the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday on the back of three wins, and they themselves are in with a shout of a top eight finish. Just three points separate Ajax in eighth, and Pirates in 10th.
"It's more of a cup final for them than for us," Menzo was quoted by Sowetan Live.
"They have to [make the top eight] and we want to, and we will go there and try to save our top eight position. It is up to them to see what they can do.
"We play away and we don't have to make [the running in] the game. We will see what they do and try then to do our own thing," he said.
After three wins, Menzo finally feels the team spirit is back after a difficult period that saw them among the relegation stragglers earlier during the campaign.
"The spirit has come back suddenly, sometimes you need some luck for that and then it is there. The belief and the energy is there.
"You are always looking for challenges and maybe for us the next challenge is to make it four wins in a row, then the top eight position is okay," said the Dutchman.
The action gets underway at 19:30.
