Mbombela - Following the Nedbank cup quarter-final draw last week, Mpumalanga Black Aces captain Collins Mbesuma has admitted that AmaZayoni will have a mountain to climb against the rejuvenated SuperSport United.

AmaZayoni were drawn against Matsatsantsa in the quarter-final of the Ke Yona competition and the draw was conducted at the SuperSport studios in Randburg last Thursday.

“Yes I’m definitely happy with a draw against SuperSport United,” said Mbesuma.

“But I must admit that it’s not going to be an easy game at all, they are a good team.

“It will be a tough game because they have a good and strong team.

“And also they have a world class coach as well but we are up for the challenge and we are going to fight and do our best as a team.”

Meanwhile, Matsatsantsa skipper Dean Furman believes that the R7m competition is all to play for this season, following their poor start to the campaign.

“I think that we have everything to play for in this competition,” said Furman.

“With a disappointing first half to our season, the Nedbank cup offers us one thing to take home this season.

“We’ll do our best to win it, we have a good team and there are lots of motivations in the team. And we’d like to make something out of it.”

The dates and venues for the last 8 fixtures are yet to be confirmed.
