Cape Town - Baroka
FC goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke has been selected in the top three for
the FIFA Puskas award, along with Olivier Giroud and Deyna Castellanos.
Masuluke's spectacular bicycle-kick against Orlando Pirates last year was originally in the top 10, however, it has now been voted into the top three by fans across the globe.
He will be up against Giroud's stunning scorpion-kick for Arsenal as well as Castellanos' long-range strike for Venezuela's U17 women's team against Cameroon.
Nonetheless, it appears the Bakgaga gloveman has an incredible chance to win the much sought-after world honour which will be handed out in a ceremony in London on October 23.
FIFA confirmed the final three nominees with a statement which read: "Vote now to decide which of Deyna Castellanos, Olivier Giroud and Oscarine Masuluke will be crowned the successor to Mohd Faiz Subri as the winner of the 2017 FIFA Puskas Award.
"The remarkable trio of goals progressed from the first round of voting, which concluded on Monday, 9 October. Every fan has a new vote in this second round, with the total of both votes added together to decide the winner.
"Voting will conclude on Monday, 23 October, the day of The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in London."
