Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mzikayise Mashaba is yet to receive word from the club management regarding his future at Chloorkop.
The 27-year-old joined the Brazilians from Bidvest Wits during the 2012/2013 Premiership season, and has since gone on to claim a regular starting spot in coach Pitso Mosimane's team, making over 80 appearances in all competitions for the league leaders in the past three years.
Mashaba's agent, Tim Sukazi, has revealed that his client will continue to wait before they entertain offers from other clubs.
"Sundowns have an option to renew Mashaba's contract until the end of April. So, we are waiting to hear from them," Sukazi told Goal website.
"Look, if they exercise it would be fine. We would accept that obviously, but if they don't then it's no problem we can move him elsewhere.
"We are still waiting on Sundowns provided they come forward with a new deal. We are not looking at any interested teams for now."
Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits and Platinum Stars are among the top Premiership clubs reported to have shown interest on the services of the defender.
