Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns has reportedly parted ways with Brazilian centre-back Ricardo Nascimento after the defender suffered a season-ending injury.
According to a report by SowetanLive, Nascimento has returned to his homeland to recover from a pelvic injury that ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
Masandawana acted quickly in signing Ghanaian goalkeeper Brimah Razak to shore up their allocation of five foreign players which effectively ended Nascimento's stay at Chloorkop.
Meanwhile star forward Percy Tau admitted he is in no rush to leave the Champions of Africa anytime soon.
Tau, 23, has enjoyed a meteoric rise with the Brazilians over the past 18 months and more recently the South Africa national team, from being shipped out on-loan to National First Division side Witbank Spurs in 2016, to winning the CAF Champions League title in 2017.
"Where I am is where I am, I don't think there should be any pressure on [moving abroad]. I think I'm still playing in one of the top leagues in Africa," he told Kickoff.
