Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Oupa Manyisa is refusing to put a time-frame on his imminent return to action. The Bafana Bafana international has been out since September last year after fracturing his fibula against Polokwane City.
After a long road to recovery, the Pirates playmaker has been back in training over the last few weeks and was declared fit to play by head coach Eric Tinkler earlier last month.
But the 27-year-old says he does not feel quite ready for the rigours of competitive football just yet.
"It feels very good to be part of the training once again. I am back at full training but I am not yet ready to play," Manyisa told Soccer Laduma.
"I will take my time and when I feel I am ready I will play. For now I just have to continue working hard at training and gain my full fitness."
The Buccaneers are fighting for a top-eight spot, currently lying sixth, three points above nine-placed Golden Arrows with three league games to go. They are also through to the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.
