Manyisa hails impressive opening win

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates captain Oupa Manyisa says his team's impressive opening victory in the Premiership was a reflection of what happens in training.

The Buccaneers started their season with a bang following their 3-1 win over Golden Arrows on Wednesday.

Sharpshooter Tendai Ndoro grabbed a hat-trick in a dominant performance at the Orlando Stadium.

"This was the result which we wanted in our first game and playing at home. What you saw is what we have been doing at training," Manyisa told Soccer Laduma.

"It all starts at training. The coach has told us to work on everything that we have been trying at training and we followed those instructions and we will continue from here."

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
