Maluleka: We can't lose another one

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka says it would be a disaster if the team lost its second consecutive cup final later this month.

Amakhosi take on rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on December 16.

Chiefs will be looking to avoid a back-to-back final loss after their defeat at the hands of Ajax Cape Town in the MTN8 final in September.

Maluleka concedes that a powerhouse like Chiefs cannot afford to miss out on another piece of silverware.

"Any final you play in will be tough. Sundowns are currently on top of their game but we can't lose twice in a row. We just can't," Maluleka told Soccer Laduma.

"We know what to expect from Sundowns and we have to be cautious with their approach. But we want to win this one."

Kick-off is at 18:00.
