Maluleka returns to full training

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs revealed on Wednesday that George Maluleka has returned to full training while Siphiwe Tshabalala is nursing a knock and Lorenzo Gordinho is suspended for the next game.

The Glamour Boys are scheduled to play Ajax Cape Town this weekend as the Naturena-based outfit will be looking to make it six wins in a row against the Urban Warriors.

However, in-form Tshabalala could be in doubt for the game with a niggle while Gordinho, who is Chiefs' joint leading scorer with four goals, will play no part due to suspension.

Good news for Amakhosi is that Eric Mathoho is available after he served his own recent suspension, and he may likely partner Ramahlwe Mphahlele or Daniel Cardoso in central defence.

Nonetheless, the club's physiotherapist David Milner reports that Tshabalala is battling to get back to full fitness while Maluleka has returned.

"It was a minor setback and George returned today to full training," he told the club's official website.

"We'll assess Shabba (Tshabalala) for the next few days."
