Cape Town - Chippa United will be looking to return to winning ways when they welcome Cape Town City to the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts are coming back from a five game winless streak that included two draws at home against Bloemfontein Celtic and Platinum Stars.
Cape Town City are coming to Port Elizabeth on the back of a moral boosting win against Baroka FC to power to the Telkom Knockout semi finals.
“The FIFA break gave us an opportunity to go back to the training ground and find solutions,” said head coach Dan Malesela as quoted by the club's website.
“We are fully focused on the next challenge. We need to knuckle down and show the hunger to win games again.
“We lacked a bit of effort against Bidvest Wits and at the end that was a difference between ourselves and them.
Malesela continued: “We have a responsibility all of us here to defend the Chippa United emblem and take this project to greater heights. We have reminded the players of their bit on the field of play.
“We are playing at home and our objective when we take the field is to win and it will not be different on Saturday.
Chippa United has been boosted by the return to training of influential midfielder, Andile Mbenyane, who missed the trip to Johannesburg for the Wits fixture due to injury. Meanwhile, captain Thamsanqa Sangweni is back training with his team-mates.
Kick off is at 15:30.
