Cape Town - Chippa United coach Dan Malesela says he is baffled by a run of form that has seen his side winless in nine matches which puts the Chilli Boys in relegation trouble.
Chippa lost their last Premiership match 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs and are now just three points away from the relegation dogfight.
He told reporters: "I'm not one who believes in bad luck or who believes in myths but I really have to find out what is wrong with the team because I don’t see too much that is wrong with the playing side. What I see is wrong is a bit of misfortune."
Malesela admitted though that with the number of injuries his side have suffered of late hasn't helped their cause.
"I'm basing this on the number of injuries we are getting at the club. Every week I have to move somebody through injury or something of the sort. Just when it looks like we are getting our full team (back), somebody gets injured," he added.
"Unfortunately we have now lost (Buyile) Sali and it also looks like Justice Chabalala and Daniel Akpeyi might be out for the next game. But we just have to soldier on with what we have. I just have to find solutions to the challenges we are having."
