Makola backs Pirates tactics

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfield ace Mpho Makola has complete faith in the game plan drawn up by the technical team ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup final showdown against Etoile du Sahel on Sunday.

Pirates travel to Tunisia on Sunday for the second-leg tie of the final, which takes place at the Stade Olympique de Sousse.

Etoile enter the encounter with the advantage after the 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Orlando Stadium last Saturday.

Makola is convinced Pirates can overturn their opponents' advantage if they successfully execute their tactical plans on the day.

"We have been working hard and just preparing for the second leg. The Technical team has taken us through the video analysis from the past game and we have worked on a plan," said on the club's official website.

"We have seen that they have weaknesses which we did not exploit the last time and now we have to apply ourselves better to make them count.

"Look nothing is cast in stone; they still need to score at home if they want to win the final. We are also aware that it’s always difficult to play at home when you have to score and not concede at the same time."
