Majoro's agent rubbishes Celtic link

Cape Town - The agent of Orlando Pirates defender Lehlohonolo Majoro has rubbished local media reports linking him with a move to Bloemfontein Celtic.

The 29-year-old has been subject of a raft of rumours over the last 24 hours after Celtic reportedly claimed they were close to signing him. However, his representative is adamant this is not the case.

"Just like any of the Orlando Pirates players, Majoro is currently on holiday, " Mandla Mthembu told Soccer Laduma.

"Having said that, the player still has business to fulfil with Pirates, as far as his contract is concerned."

Majoro looks set to receieve a starting berth in Carling Black Label Cup, with the starting XI chosen by votes from fans, which is indicative of the Ghosts' faith in the forward, meaning any potential exit would be an unpopular one.

"He is definitely returning to the club and is looking forward to working with the new coach. The club has a new coach, which means that everybody will have a chance for a new start under him," his agent added.
